CAREGRID SCRIBE / VAC + PUCK
From a consultation to a structured case sheet and draft prescription, ready for the doctor to review.
Prototype · benchmarking nextWHO IT’S FOR
A full waiting room should not mean an incomplete record. Scribe is being built to capture the consultation, organise what was said and return a draft the doctor can correct and approve. Telugu with English medical terms is the starting point.

HOW IT FITS INTO THE DAY
Record on a phone, with patient consent. The dedicated Puck is an experimental recording companion. The phone collection app records locally first.
The planned local pipeline transcribes the conversation and extracts a case sheet and draft prescription. English is a rendering of the structured record, not an extra translation step in the clinical pipeline.
The doctor compares the draft with its source, edits it and approves the output. Prescription printing is designed to require explicit clinician approval.
THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
Telugu and English medical terms often share a sentence. Measuring transcription accuracy in that setting comes before claims about performance.
Puck explores dedicated audio capture at the desk. It is part of Scribe, not another application for a clinician to learn.
VAC is designed around self-hosted speech and language models. Earlier scribe demos used cloud services; the local clinical pipeline still needs validation.
WHERE WE ARE
The collection app is built. Telugu clinical-speech benchmarking and the end-to-end local pipeline are the next milestones. Puck is a hardware prototype.
No transcription accuracy or time-saving figure is claimed before measurement.
