Order and collect
The clinician orders tests against the patient record. The sample collection queue tracks collection and labelling.
CAREGRID LABS / HAMSINI
Test orders, samples, result entry and pathologist approval in one continuous lab workflow.
Workflow prototypeWHO IT’S FOR
An order should not disappear into another system. CareGrid Labs, also called Hamsini, follows the work from the clinician’s request to the signed report, with a clear queue for every person involved.
THE WORKFLOW
Designed around the people doing the work.
HOW IT FITS INTO THE DAY
The clinician orders tests against the patient record. The sample collection queue tracks collection and labelling.
Technicians enter results and send them for approval. Pathologists review the values before releasing a report.
An approved report can be downloaded as a PDF. Hospital-system connectivity is being developed through the HMS Bridge.
THE DETAILS THAT MATTER
Ordering, collection, result entry and approval have distinct responsibilities and permissions.
The Bridge is intended to connect to the existing HMS. Each hospital integration requires mapping and testing.
Pathologist approval is built into the workflow. Instrument ingestion has an initial endpoint; real machine drivers depend on the equipment.
WHERE WE ARE
The order-to-report workflow is implemented as a prototype. Live HMS connections, lab-machine drivers and full-day clinical operation still need site-specific validation.
A working prototype is not evidence of deployment at hospital scale.
LET’S BUILD THIS AROUND YOUR CLINIC
We’re looking for clinicians, hospitals and collaborators who want to help shape what comes next.
