CAREGRID GUIDE / HOSPITAL MOBILITY

The right thing.
In the right place.

A hospital delivery robot concept, starting with simple runs for supplies, documents and small items.

Early exploration
Talk about Guide

WHO IT’S FOR

Hospital operations teams, ward staff and the people who keep care moving.

CareGrid Guide begins with a practical job: moving small, routine items through a hospital without pulling a member of staff away from a patient. It is being explored as a dispatch and delivery workflow first, with guided visitor assistance as a later direction.

THE WORKFLOW

01

Request a run

02

Move through the facility

03

Confirm the handover

Designed around the people doing the work.

HOW IT FITS INTO THE DAY

Less friction.
At every handover.

01

Request a run

A staff member creates a delivery request for a defined pickup, destination and item type. The first workflows focus on low-risk, non-clinical items.

02

Move through the facility

The robot follows an approved route and communicates its progress. Site mapping, safety review and staff oversight are essential parts of making each route usable.

03

Confirm the handover

The receiving team confirms delivery, leaving a clear operational record of what moved and where it went.

THE DETAILS THAT MATTER

01

Start with a narrow, useful task

Routine movement is the first use case. The work begins with predictable routes and simple handovers before any broader role is considered.

02

People remain in charge

Staff define the jobs, supervise the service and handle exceptions. Guide is intended to support hospital teams, not replace their judgment.

03

Earn the right to do more

Visitor wayfinding and other assistance roles are future directions. They depend on safe operation, dependable mapping and learning from use inside each facility.

WHERE WE ARE

Early exploration

Built in the open.
Proven in the work.

Guide is an early product direction. We are defining the first delivery workflows, facility requirements and safety approach before claiming a deployed robot service.

Guide is not a clinical device and is not intended to transport medicines, specimens or any item that needs specialised handling in its first phase.

LET’S BUILD THIS AROUND YOUR CLINIC

Better care starts

We’re looking for clinicians, hospitals and collaborators who want to help shape what comes next.
